Diamond SRH915

Overview

The Diamond SRH915 is Diamond Antenna’s standard 915 MHz handheld whip, available in BNC and SMA variants. Like the SRH915SB, it delivers accurate tuning at dipole gain — a dependable portable antenna from a manufacturer that doesn’t inflate gain specs.

These are closely related. The key difference is connector style:

• SRH915 — typically BNC connector; slightly longer body
• SRH915SB — SMA male connector; slightly more compact

Both are tuned identically for 915 MHz and offer the same honest 2.15 dBi gain. Check your device’s connector before ordering.

When to Use

• Handheld and pack-carry portable nodes
• Field deployments where durability matters more than max range
• Any situation where you want “real” 915 MHz tuning in a compact form

When NOT to Use

• Fixed/outdoor installations — a fiberglass 5–8 dBi antenna will dramatically outperform
